December comes but once a year and it’s already here!

So today I wanted to let you all know the reason I haven’t been blogging for the last week or so.  I have had a little break and am no readying myself for a family Christmas.  It is a busy time and I am so looking forward to having family here with me this year for Christmas.

You see Wayne and I have been in Hobart for nearly six years and although my family have been for a visit (or two) and we have been to visit family numerous times we haven’t had a family Christmas at our house in all the time we have lived here.  So I am excited and I can’t wait.  I am busy, cooking, planning, cleaning and all those things you do before your visitors arrive so we can all have a fun, happy and relaxing time together.

Having said that, I want to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and apologise for not writing and sharing over the Christmas and holiday period but I will be back in the new year.

So stay with me, stay safe, stay happy and be merry.

      Thank you so much Amber for nominating me and for letting me know you like my blog. I love writing and blogging and never even thought of awards. I just like sharing my stories and I have so many to tell. Also I had a great holiday, busy but fun and I am now getting organised to get stuck back into more writing and more blogging. I’m currently working on my first post for 2016 which I will post on Tuesday (Jan 12).. I’m hoping to expand my readership this year and to also experience more of the stories other bloggers are sharing. Thanks also to you for sharing your adventures. Love reading your stories and I am going to try the mushroom soup out in the next few weeks.
